I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years in some form or another. Educator, Practitioner, consumer, and family member. I'm a Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have the privilege of seeing patients from the very young, to the very old. My biggest pet peeve is the general lack of information that the public is given when they enter the world of mental health. Try as we might, there is never enough time or resources to adequately prepare people. My goal with my Hub page is to help fill that gap.
